Ausländische / europäische Kreditkarten

Hallo Leute,

Niklas

Hi,

It doesn’t must be SSN,

Two other methods,

  1. Investing US market to get ITIN
  2. Amex Global transfer with legal renting agreement ( it only requires for first time, then can switch to Mail box address )

And it worth to do so, because all the benefits from Amex card
Easy paying bill with WISE account , MR can transfer from DE to US once per year, also will add up the currency rate while you do so ( now is like 10% more)

And better exchanging rate for miles , for example MR to Singapore Airline is 1:1 over US Amex

I read on the internet that you don’t even need an ITIN or SSN for the Global Transfer. If that is true, one would just need a US bank account and someone who lives in the US to whom they can send the card. But I am not sure if it is really that easy.

1 „Gefällt mir“

For global transfer is only available for Amex.

And they do random checking for your US bank and address.

That’s why there are some DP shows you don’t need it, but also some DP shows you will get FR which if you don’t have any, they won’t approve your card. Totally YMMV.

DP datapoint
FR Financial review
YMMV Your miles May vary ( case by case)

So it mby will be easier to just get a ITIN
Not only it’s sure that you can get Amex, but also you just open the whole wonderland.
Chase, BOA, Citi ….

Thanks for American people loves to pay for the credit card interest to the bank

And I helped myself, one of my friend , and my wife to get the US Amex already.

So, it’s really doable :muscle:
And you can get a lots of benefits from it
