Frage zu Buchungs- bzw. Ticketcodes

Hallo

So weit, so problemlos.

2 ET 739U 07OCT T GVAADD WK3 2215 0605 08OCT W HRS /E old
3 ET 739U 07OCT T GVAADDSC3 2105 0455 08OCT W HRS /E new
4 ET 879U 08OCT W ADDSEZ
HK3 0930 1420 HRS /E
5 ET 878U 18OCT J SEZADDHK3 1720 2005 HRS /E
6 ET 728U 19OCT S ADDGVA
HK3 0010 0630 HRS /E

Grobi

Summary of Change:

Your original Geneva → Addis Ababa flight (ET 739U) was rescheduled from 22:15 → 06:05 to an earlier time of 21:05 → 04:55 on 7th October. The rest of your flights remain unchanged.

The codes before and after the route in your flight details serve specific purposes. Here’s what they mean:

Codes Before the Route

  • ET 729U / ET 739U / etc.:
    • ET: Ethiopian Airlines (IATA airline code).
    • Flight Number: 729, 739, etc.
    • U: Booking class (fare class), which determines pricing, baggage allowance, and upgrade eligibility.
  • 07OCT T / 08OCT W / etc.:
    • 07OCT: Departure date.
    • T / W / J / S: Day of the week (T = Tuesday, W = Wednesday, J = Thursday, S = Saturday).

Codes After the Route

  • WK3 / HK3 / SC3: These are status and booking codes:
    • WK3 (Was Kept 3): Indicates that this flight segment was removed or changed by the airline, meaning it was part of your previous booking but is no longer valid.
    • HK3 (Holding Confirmed 3): Confirms that three seats have been booked and are currently held for this reservation.
    • SC3: This could be an internal airline code indicating a sub-class or a specific flight operation adjustment.
  • Times (e.g., 2215 0605):
    • Departure and arrival times in local time format (24-hour clock).
  • HRS /E:
    • HRS: Standard time format notation.
    • /E: Likely an electronic ticket indicator.

Summary of Important Changes in Your Itinerary

  • „WK3“ means the flight was removed from your itinerary.
  • „HK3“ means your new flight is confirmed.
  • Your Geneva → Addis Ababa flight changed departure time from 22:15 to 21:05.
